A celebration of the tercentenary of Dieterich Buxtehude, based around three of the finest of Buxtehude's organ Praeludia, played on Trinity's world-famous 'Father Smith' organ. Other organ works will include an Echo Fantasia from the Sweelinck School, and toccatas by Scheidemann and Frescobaldi. Harpsichord music will include the extraordinary Toccata VII by Michelangelo Rossi, and music by Kerll and Frescobaldi as well as Buxtehude himself.
