THE DESIRE OF HEAVENLY HARMONIES

Stile Antico

7.30pm, Sunday 12 August, 2007
Trinity College Chapel
Music from the golden age of the English choral tradition, by Byrd and Tallis. Stile Antico is one of the most original and exciting vocal groups of our time, demonstrating "wonderful clarity with perfectly focused and ideally balanced voices... with impeccable diction and intonation". Critics have described their first CD as "absolutely ravishing... an extraordinary recording". In 2006 they collaborated extensively with Sting in his project Songs from the Labyrinth.
Concert generously supported by the Early Music Network with funds from Arts Council England and by Cambridge Family Law Practice.
