"The lute is without contradiction the king of Instruments. It makes alone a consort of music, and out of dead and dumb things it draws a soul..." Music by Vallet, Huwet, Kapsperger, Piccini, Dlugoraj, Johnson, Dowland and others. Jakob Lindberg plays his miraculously restored original lute dating from c. 1590.
